The conference  “Oil and Gas Industry Supply Chain” (Neftegazsnab-2010) will take place on March 16, 2010 in

Moscow. The conference will be attended by deputy general director of OJSC “Surgutneftegaz”, Vladimir Ashikhmin who is in charge of procurement in the company; deputy head of procurement department, Anatoly Koltsov,  head of procurement and logistics, Sergey Pakulov. OJSC “Surgutneftegaz” will present a paper, “The history of supply chain management”.

The annual conference brings together procurement executives of the oil and gas industry. The goal of the conference is to promote transparency and openness of the supplier selection system in oil and gas producing companies. Conference participants share their experience and discuss procurement systems existing in the industry. The event acquires special importance now when many companies of the oil and gas industry use cost optimization approach.
