Alexey Kada, Procurement Director Department of TNK-BP, OJSC is going to report on prequalification of suppliers responsible for upstream of goods and equipment during the Fourth Annual Conference “Oil and Gas Supply Chain" (NEFTEGAZSNAB-2009). TNK-BP was the first petroleum company that started procuring goods and materials for upstream on the basis of the open tender and its logistic support system is a good example for other companies operating in the same field. Olga Malyshkina, Member of Consumer Coordination Council for oil and gas industry used to head the Procurement Department and now is appointed a Vice President of TNK –BP Supply Chain Management.

Annual Conference of Logistic Support Directors will be held on March 12, 2009.  The Conference is aimed at providing transparent and open selection system of oil and gas companies’ suppliers.  The participants will share their experience during the conference and discuss logistics support systems of various companies.  This event becomes especially challenging when implementing cost optimization program in many oil and gas companies.
