First deputy chairman of state-controlled Turkmenneft appointed minister of oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan


 
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on appointment of Annaguly Deryayev as minister of oil and gas industry and mineral resources of Turkmenistan at an expanded government meeting on October 13. Under the decree, A.Deryayev was relieved of his post as first deputy chairman of the Turkmenneft state concern. Annaguly Deryayev was born in the village of Ekerem of Esenguly district of Balkan province in 1973. He graduated from Turkmen Polytechnic Institute in 1994 as mining engineer. After graduation, he worked as driller and toolpusher on drilling exploratory and test wells at Goturdepe department of drill works of the Turkmennebit state concern from 1994 to 1995.   For the next two years he was doing his master's degree at the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute. He served in the army from 1997 to 1998. In 1998-2002, he worked as senior engineer technologist, deputy head and  head of the department for drilling technologies at Burnebitgas trust of Turkmennebit state concern.
Starting from 2002, he worked as head of the drill works department in the central office of Turkmennebit state concern, deputy chairman, first deputy chairman of this concern.
