Felix Lyubashevsky: Market trend shifts to long-term contracts

Integra Group and oil producer TNK-BP have signed a long-term cooperation agreement. Under the agreement, the companies will work together in the sphere of production well drilling and sidetracking in the fields of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, and Verkhnechonskoye field (Irkutsk region). The term of the agreement is 2008-2010. During the period, LLC “Integra-Burenie” (member of Integra Group) will drill 129 production wells and 63 sidetracks. The total meterage will be 490 000 meters.
Integra Group’s president Felix Lyubashevsky offered the following comments, “Today’s market trend shifts to long-term contracts. They provide stability and predictability in customer-contractor relations. This is meaningful for planning, financing and the very process of service providing. Specifically, the signed contracts exceeding $150 million will keep some of our drilling crews busy for three years. And the customer’s interests are above all – the agreements will give the customer stable access to crews and equipment, especially in conditions of growing shortage of free facilities and human resources”.
