Russia’s first catalogue of drilling equipment has been published. In the introduction to the catalogue, director of the Procurement Department of OJSC “Tatneft”, Alexander Avramenko said, “Regular publication of equipment catalogues is  indispensable for equipment selection by oil and gas companies.  Such catalogues used to be published on a regular basis by industry information institutions to keep oil industry professionals informed on the wide range of equipment manufactured. Today, the important and useful activities have been resumed with the assistance of the Association of Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturers. The oil and gas equipment catalogues contain detailed information on manufacturers and their products. Each catalogue has a conveniently arranged alphabetical index for quick search of required products.     The catalogues are prepared in cooperation with procurement services of oil and gas companies, and the information is customer-oriented. Publication of equipment catalogues that are becoming table-top books for oil and gas industry professionals is useful and important”.
