Kostroma region governor: Integra’s executives do meet their commitments |
Stromneftemash company (member of Integra Group) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Kostroma region government. Under the agreement, Stromneftemash will provide assistance to the Kostroma region’s educational institutions in training of technical specialists and their employment. Additionally, Stromneftemash will invest in road infrastructure development. In turn, the Kostroma region administration will help the company to solve operational and social problems. Integra’s vice president Vitaly Tkachev offered the following comments on the agreement, “One of our three production sites is located in Kostroma region - Stromneftemash. Traditionally, we pay great attention to manufacturing of cementing equipment and special machinery in Kostroma . Investment figures speak for themselves. Integra Group has invested a total of approximately 700 million rubles in renovation of the Kostroma facility, including 136,8 million rubles invested in 2007. Consideration for the social aspect of our business, for the needs of the region where we operate is part of our strategy that we will follow in future. We are grateful to the Kostroma region government for their support at the startup when we were reviving the Kostroma plant, and we highly appreciate their trust in us”. The Kostroma region governor, Igor Slyunyaev said, “Integra Group that owns Stromneftemash has proved its worth as a company of high social responsibility. Integra acquired Stromneftemash in 2006 when the plant was totally ruined. The company was pulled out of bankruptcy over the two years, production was resumed, and last year the plant presented its new generation cementing system. Tax payments to the region’s budget grew and employment increased. Integra’s executives do meet their commitments. So, we plan to further support the company in other of its good deeds”. Vitaly Tkachev was born on November 6, 1958 in the city of Magadan. In 1981, he graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Civil Aviation with a degree in mechanical engineering. During 1981-92, he worked as mechanic, foreman, chief mechanic. In 2002, Tkachev graduated from the Gubkin University of Oil and Gas with a degree in oil and gas business. Tkachev has been awarded the Honorary Oilman title. Member of the Council of the Association of Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturers. Tkachev served as general director of the large oil producing company Orenburgneft, and then as first vice-president of Tyumen Oil Company. Orsk Refinery was successfully renovated under his supervision; he managed to improve performance of Ryazan Refinery. Big businessman and manager, Mr.Tkachev has a perfect understanding of the Russian oil and gas equipment market. The efforts of Vitaly Tkachev’s team ensured a substantial growth of oil and gas equipment production in Sverdlovsk region, Tyumen region, Kostroma region and Perm region.
