According to Interfax news agency, shareholders of OJSC “Uralmashzavod” at their annual meeting on June 28 decided against dividend payments due to financial loss. “Dividends on the company’s preferred and ordinary shares for the year 2007 shall not be paid due to the financial loss of 2007”, the announcement says.  The chairman of the Union of Manufacturing Companies of the Sverdlovsk Region, Alexey Molotkov, earlier said that the pre-tax loss of OJSC “Uralmashzavod” at the end of 2007 was 222 million rubles against profit in the previous year.
