The group of companies “Congress Management Network”, under the auspices of the Administration of RF President, RF Government, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Ministry of Natural Resources Management, the Administration of the Tyumen region, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers), the group of companies “Integra”, the Association of Oilfield Services Contractors, the Association of Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturers, the Union of Oil and Gas Producers, are making arrangements to hold the International Forum “Oil and Gas Service Forum” on October 1-4, 2008 in Tyumen. Earlier fixed for May 28-31, 2008, the Forum was postponed upon agreement with key speakers due to changes that took place in the RF Government during the said period.

The Forum will be attended by representatives of the RF Government, the Administration of RF President, the RF Federal Council, federal and regional executive authorities, heads of major local and international oilfield services providers, oil and gas producers and equipment manufacturers.

The Forum is expected to become the major international organization for leading Russian and foreign professionals and interested participants to share experience, discuss urgent problems that arise during their interaction, establishment of business relations and informal communication.

The basic themes of Forum-2008 are: 

•  Restructuring of the oil and gas equipment and oilfield services industries – Pending consolidation. Russian and international experience. 
• Oil and gas companies’ contractor management practices.
• Export potential of the Russian oil and gas machinery services sector. New markets and new prospects. 
• Options for cooperation between oil and gas equipment manufacturers, service providers and international financial institutions.

There are plans to conduct round table discussions to focus on the most relevant issues of the industry that will be attended by leading Russian and international specialists.

The participants and guests of the Forum will be offered an extensive cultural program.
