An oilfield services providing company of ChTPZ Group, Rimera, has acquired a 100% ownership of the major drilling contractor in the Taimyr Autonomous District, Krasnoyarsk Territory, CJSC “Taimyrnefterazvedka”.
Today, Taimyrnefterazvedka accounts for 70 percent of the exploration drilling market of Taimyr region. The company drills wells in complex geological conditions with extremely low or high formation pressures. Since 1964, the company has constructed oil and gas wells in 50 leases located in Enisey-Khatanga, Anabar-Khatanga, North-Tungus and Pur-Tazov oil and gas bearing provinces. The company’s geographic coverage is more than 600 kilometers from the city of Dudinsk where the company’s main base is located. The company employs approximately 380 people. Key customers of CJSC “Taimyrnefterazvedka” are Rosneft and TNK-BP.
According to Rimera’s general director, Vladimir Khristenko, acquisition of drilling contractors will allow Rimera to offer unique solutions for exploration and drilling, field construction, designing and construction of main line systems and surface infrastructure.
