June 23: Association of Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturers marks 10th anniversary |
Today, this organization is well known in the domestic market and overseas. The Association has done a lot to help overcome the antagonism between the defense sector and the oil and gas sector. At meetings organized by the Association, equipment manufacturers and metallurgical companies were able to discuss the most important issues with oil and gas producers. The Association took part in the work to reform the procurement and logistics system of natural monopolies and oil companies. It established the Coordinating Council of Oil and Gas Equipment Users, the Register of Oil and Gas Industry Suppliers, resumed publishing annual catalogues of oil and gas equipment. The Association is managed by the Board of Directors chaired by the prominent politician, Yury Maslyukov.
