The international conference “Oil and Gas Industry Standardization” (STANDARTNEFTEGAZ-2008) took place yesterday in Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel. The conference was attended by representatives of OJSC “Gazprom”, AK “Transneft”, OJSC “Rosneft”, OJSC “Gazpromneft”, OJSC “LUKOIL”, Schlumberger, Bentec Drilling, LLC “Burgaz”, LLC “Gazkomplektimpeks”, OJSC “Integra”, LLC “Gazpromrazvitie”, OJSC “Slavneft”, OJSC “Tatneft”, OJSC “Hydraulic Machines and Systems” and other companies. Participants discussed priorities and plans for oil and gas equipment standards development. Deputy head of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology pointed to the importance of timely modernization of standards in the oil and gas industry.
