The conference “Oil and Gas Equipment Standardization” (STANDARTNEFTEGAZ-2008) will open in Moscow on May 20. The conference will address the need for modernization and harmonization of oil and gas industry standards.  Additionally, the conference will look at oil and gas producers’ requirements for equipment they purchase.    
The event will be attended by representatives of OJSC “Gazprom”, AK “Transneft”, OJSC “Rosneft”, OJSC “Slavneft”, OJSC “SIBUR”, LLC “Gazkomplektimpeks”, LLC “Gazpromrazvitie”,  OJSC “Gazpromneft”, OJSC “Tatneft”, OJSC “Bashneft”, LLC “VNIIGAZ”, OJSC “VNIINMASh”, Schlumberger and other companies.  
The delegation of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Atomic Supervision will be headed by deputy director Nikolay Kutyin, and the delegation of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology – by deputy director Sergey Pugachev.
