The general director of OJSC “Korvet” Anatoly Chernov will present his paper “Approaches to domestic standards improvement from the viewpoint of oil and gas equipment manufacturers”  at the conference “Oil and Gas Equipment Standardization” (STANDARTNEFTEGAZ-2008). STANDARTNEFTEGAZ-2008 Conference will open in Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel on May 20.  The conference will address the necessity to improve outdated local oil and gas equipment standards and harmonize them with international standards.  Additionally, the conference will look at oil and gas equipment safety that largely determines safety in the oil and gas industry.

The conference will be attended by oil and gas equipment designers, manufacturers and users, and government.
