Iran’s oil production peaks |
Iran’s Minister of Oil Gholamhossein Nozari said in a televised interview on March 21 that oil export revenues reached $70 billion in the Iranian calendar year just past (March 21, 2007 - March 20, 2008).
”In the past two years, oil production in Iran was approximately 4 million bbl per day. The current production level is 4,21 million bbl per day, an unprecedented high since the Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979”, the minister said.
Iran is the world’s fourth largest oil producer after Saudi Arabia, USA and Russia.
