US contractor to build $5 billion worth refinery in Nizhnekamsk |
ÎÀÎ “Tatneft” has selected a contractor to build the new Nizhnekamsk Refinery worth $5 billion. ÎÀÎ “Tatneft” signed the contract with the US company Fluor Daniel Overseas, Inc. Construction of the refinery with crude processing capacity of 7 million tons annually will be completed in 2009. According to executive director of Fluor Corporation Donald Stockley, implementation of the turn-key project will involve participation of the company’s Moscow representative office, New-Delhi division and assistance of the Huston headquarters. Russian and international participants to the project will establish special offices to control quality and deadline observance.
