2nd International Conference “Offshore Field Equipment” (NEFTEGAZSHELF-2007) will be held in Moscow on 5 December 2007. The conference will be attended by major Russian and international oil and gas producers, government, and manufacturing companies. The event is important particularly now that ÎÀÎ “Gazprom” has selected a contractor for Shtokmanovskoye field project in Barents Sea and bought Shell’s stake in Sakhalin-2 project. These processes entailed expansion of the Russain participation in contract work. Special focus will be on production equipment requirements and supplier selection procedures. The primary goal of the conference is to discuss expansion of Russian companies’ participation in offshore projects and develop recommendations to executive and legislative authorities. Main topics of the conference include Russian offshore projects; practices of world’s major offshore equipment suppliers; offshore field equipment requirements; criteria of offshore field equipment suppliers selection; offshore operations safety.
