NK “Rosneft” president Sergey Bogdanchikov addressed the meeting in Nefteyugansk (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District) saying that Vankorskoye field development is among the company’s priorities. Vankorskoye field (Krasnoyarsk Territory) is expected to produce 25 million tons of oil annually. According to Bogdanchikov, 200-300 wells need to be drilled.
ZAO “Uralmash-Burovoye Oborudovanie” recently won a tender to supply four heavy-duty drilling rigs to OOO “Rosneft-Burenie” in 2008. ZAO “Uralmash-Burovoye Oborudovanie” was awarded  a contract to supply three more drilling rigs in 2009 - 2010. Two of the rigs will be deployed in Vankorskoye field (Krasnoyarsk Territory). In late July, representatives of the manufacturing company “Uralmash-VNIIBT” visited Vankorskoye field, to analyzed operating conditions of equipment supplied to Rosneft under the first contract made in 2006, and to hold preliminary negotiations with OAO “Rosnet”.
