11. Company history and overview of business
LLC “KPO KVOiT” was founded in 1995 to supply production materials to Samara Plant KVOiT.
During its more than a half-century history, Samara Plant “KVOiT” has seen both upswings and slowdowns in the hard times of Perestroika. Over the past decade, the company’s turnover has increased tenfold: 750-1000 tons of metal structures are currently manufactured, compared to 50 tons in the 90ties.
Official representative of the plant, “KPO KVOiT” sells its products and is engaged in integrated supplies of products by manufactured by other local manufacturers in Russia and overseas. Today, KPO partners include OJSC “NGK “Slavneft”, OJSC “NOVATEK”, OJSC “NK “Rosneft” and branches of OJSC “LUKOIL”, OJSC “TNK-BP”. Regular customers are OJSC “Gazprom”, RAO “EES of Russia” and OJSC “Tatenergo”. The company currently works with “Srednevolzhskaya Gas Conmpany” to manufacture independent boiler plants that are used in Samara Region by industry companies and social organizations within the framework of regional target programs.
Jointly with the plant, KPO KVOiT is implementing a number of joint investment projects, including small-scale production of supports, chokes and service platforms on the basis of boiler and pipeline equipment plant. For consolidation and order placing KPO KVOiT relies on plant capabilities and industry potential of Russian companies. Production cycle involves design organizations, tank repair companies and installation firms. KPO specialists supply turnkey solutions and provide logistics services. Thus, equipment is delivered to end users to the place of installation.

The plant territory accommodates 3 workshops with personnel headcount of 350-400 people. The facilities are the company’s private property.

Certificate of compliance ¹04997 from 16.09.2005. Registration ¹ ROSS RU.IS23.K00069. The certificate testifies that the quality management system applies to metal structures, equipment for petrochemistry and coal industry, tanks of up to 50 000 m³, pipelines and pressure vessels.
On 26.06.2007, it was confirmed that the quality management system complies with GOST R ISO 9001-2001 (ISO 9001:2000) with regard to bends, flanges, T-bends, crossovers, supports and spring suspensions, gas ducts, compensators, smoke flues, custom equipment chemical water treatment, expanded metal, tanks and vessels of 1-50000 m³
