11. Company history and overview of business
LLC “VALMA” was established in 2000. The company employs highly qualified engineering and technical personnel with extensive experience in research institutes, oil and gas fields and certification organizations. The great scientific and creative potential of the specialists allows to provide the following services:
Development of specifications for corrosion resistant and cold resistant oilfield equipment (pipes, pipeline parts, etc.), designing of new types of lubricants that comply with strict technical and environmental standards; inspection checkup of pipe manufacturing processes at the customers’ request; expert assessment and identification of causes of early wear of oilfield equipment and pipes; corrosion monitoring of oilfield equipment and pipelines; manufacturing and supply of thread sealing semisolid lubricant RUS-series (RUS, RUS-1, RUS-1 “À”, RUS-SK, RUS-Olimp; RUS-Snow Queen; RUS-Premium. It should be emphasized that the company employs specialists who are well-known in the scientific circles. The have provided numerous solutions that are used in the Russian Federation and overseas. Young specialists were educated according to the best local traditions, they have already offered their own advanced solutions and innovations. The company works in a close cooperation with leading research institutes (LLC “VNIIGAZ”, VNIIBT, OJSC “VNIITneft”, VNITI, SurgutNIPIneft). The company owns buildings and infrastructure.
The property includes a semi-solid lubricant shop and the associated infrastructure. The company produces and supplies thread sealing semisolid lubricant of RUS series (RUS, RUS-1, RUS-1 «À», RUS-SK, RUS-Olimp; RUS-Snow Queen; RUS-Premium). The production capacity is 90 tons per month.
Corrosion test laboratory with a mechanical shop. Expert assessment and identification of causes of early wear of oilfield equipment and tubular goods. Analysis of conditions of emergency equipment operation. Analysis of corrosion deposits composition, measuring of hydrogen content in the source of destruction, mechanical tests, metallographic analysis, measuring of corrosion rate, resistance to hydrogen-induced cracking, to sulfide stress corrosion cracking.
The company performs inspection checkup of pipe manufacturing at the customer’s request. The inspection checkup is aimed at ensuring compliance of oil and gas tubular goods with specifications and standards.
Control of technological parameters at each phase of pipe manufacturing.
