11. Company history and overview of business
The instrument manufacturing plant Chromatograph was set up in 1949 and was known at that time as “Mosneftekip” Plant.
In 1959, the plant started manufacturing chromatographic equipment, and it is Russia’s oldest plant in this industry. In recent years, the company manufactured more than 40 types of chromatographs, with the total output of 60 thousand units.
The company currently manufactures portable laboratory chromatographs with electronic data processing, chromatograph systems and devices, and other instruments for laboratory tests.
Chromatograph is a sophisticated analytical instrument for qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic and non-organic compounds in gas mixtures.
The largest chromatograph buyers are Russian medical, environmental, chemical, petrochemical, agricultural and food companies.
A substantial number of chromatographs provided by the company are used in CIS countries. Efforts are underway to resume overseas supplies (Iran, Bulgaria and other countries).
