Operation as oil and gas industry supplier
Operation as oil and gas industry supplier
1. 1. Date of commencement of operation as a supplier of the oil and gas industry
Since 2001, the company has supplied more than 12 thousand tons of aluminosilicate microsphere to Russian oil and gas companies (Slavneft, Burgaz, Nizhnevartovskservis, Tomskburneftegaz, NPF “Speccement”, NPO “UrengoyGeoResurs”, CJSC “SSK”, etc.).
2. 2. Main types of products (services) for the oil and gas industry

3. 3. The most competitive products (services) and benefits they offer
Microspheres are used in the oil and gas production as additive for light-weight cement slurries, which allows to:
• reduce cement slurry density to 1,22-1,24 g/cm3.
• decrease the pressure of cement slurry column while cementing under 25-45 atm.
• prevent formation hydrofracture and loss of cement slurry in Cenomanian deposits.
• reduce filtrate invasion.
• provide designed top of cement.
• improve adhesion of cement body and casing and ensure better zonal isolation.
• reduce capital expenditures through abandonment of two-stage cementing technology and timesaving on well completion.
• today, a number of Russian oil and gas producers and oilfield services providers (OJSC “Slavneft-Megionneftegaz”, CJSC “SSK”, etc.) have already switched to light weight cement slurries containing aluminosilicate microspheres produced by the company. More than 1500 wells have been cemented over the seven years of operation. The accumulated experience shows that the technology provides double effect: reduced capital expenditures and improved cementing quality.
4. Permits for use of the products. Certificate number, date of issue and certificate issuing authority
“Certificate for use of chemical products in oil production and transportation processes” ¹ 153.39.RU.245800.01564.04.07 from 16.04.2007, issued by the State Center of Certification and Standardization of Oil Industry Chemicals “Neftepromkhim”.
”Certificate of Compliance” ¹ TEK RU.HP06.N01676 from 16.04.2007, issued by the State Center of Certification and Standardization of Oil Industry Chemicals “Neftepromkhim”.
”Sanitary-Epidemiological Conclusion” ¹ 54.NS.02.571.P.000760.01.07 from 29.01.2007, issued by Novosibirsk Division of Federal Service for Consumer Protection and Welfare.
”Sanitary-Epidemiological Conclusion” ¹ 54.NS.02.571.T.000759.01.07 from 29.01.2007, issued by Novosibirsk Division of Federal Service for Consumer Protection and Welfare.
5. Major oil and gas industry contracts received over the past five years. Equipment supplied under the contracts and customer names
Over the past five years, one of the company’s customers – OJSC “Slavneft-Megionneftegaz” – has cemented more than 800 wells using microspheres supplied by the company.
6. Experience of supplying products (services) to foreign customers over the last five years. Types of products (services), export markets and local projects where the company participated
More than 20 thousand tons of the aluminosilicate microsphere have been supplied to international oil producing, oilfield services and construction companies (Smartech Technology Petroleum Services (UAE), Cometals (USA), Elkem AS Materials (Norway), Asachi Glass (Japan), etc.
7. Customer feedback process and after-sales service
The company uses a multi-level process control from feedstock control to quality control of finished products in big bags supplied to the customer. These measures ensure superior quality of the microspheres. There has not been a single complaint from the customers.
8. Major competitors and their products (services)
Epitaksia is one of Russia’s leading producers of aluminosilicate microsphere. The increasing domestic demand for the product exceeds supply.
9. Main suppliers of equipment and materials
OJSC “Novosibirskenergo”, LLC “Khoros”, LLC “Group of Companies Sibirtrans”, LLC “Poligrad”, etc.
