11. Company history and overview of business
2007 marks 47th anniversary of OJSC “SKB SPA”.
Since the startup, the company has been engaged in development of the following equipment:
- Electric motor operators, electric motors, motor starters;
- Electronic tools for automatic control systems;
- Boiler house automatic equipment.
In the 90-ties, SKB SPA launched a new business stream: designing and manufactuiring of explosionproof electric motor operators, control systems for oil and gas transportation and workflows of the oil and gas industry and other explosion hazardous sectors.
OJSC “SKB SPA” owns a testing laboratory to run certification tests.
The company has quality management system certified to GOST R ISO 9001:2001 (ISO 9001:2000) for design, engineering, manufacturing and servicing of control systems. There are ongoing efforts to make customer-tailored product improvements. The high quality of the company’s equipment is confirmed by numerous product excellence awards.
