11. Company history and overview of business
1939 – foundation of OJSC “Sorbent” (manufacturer of defense industry products)
1950 – manufacturing of active carbon
1960 – 1991ă. manufacturing of active carbon, respiratory protective equipment, cloth filters, drinking water advanced treatment systems
1991 – foundation of CJSC “Sorbent-Center Vnedrenie” (defense conversion).
Since 1991, CJSC “Sorbent-Center Vnedrenie” has been involved in designing, manufacturing and supplying of personal protective equipment. The company’s products are used in petroleum chemistry, metal-working industry, oil and gas processing, etc. throughout Russia and in CIS countries.
CJSC “ Sorbent-Center Vnedrenie” employs skilled researchers and engineers to design sorption devices and respiratory protection equipment, conduct R&D activities.
The company holds more than 40 patens for innovations. Its protective equipment meets current European standards. All products are certified to GOST R ISO 9001-96.
