    Company history and overview of business

    “Rybinsk Cable Plant” is the major company of the cable industry. It was founded in 1949 to meet the needs of the automotive industry. In 1989, the company’s production facilities were used to set up the Russian-Austrian joint venture “Volmag” and manufacture enameled wire. Today, Rybinskkabel supplies 7000 types of copper and aluminum strand cables and employs 2000 people.
