11. Company history and overview of business
OJSC “Volgogradneftemash” Is Russia’s major manufacturer of production equipment for oil, gas and chemical industries.
Founded in 1941, the Company has undergone three renovations to raise its technological level and increase manufacturing capabilities.
Since 1991, OJSC “Volgogradneftemash” is part of OJSC “Gazprom”.
Main product lines are as follows:
– Pressure vessels: separators, reactors, coke chambers, absorbers, columns, tanks, receivers, dust collectors, etc. The vessels are manufactured of carbon, corrosion resistant stainless and heat resistant steels, with plate thickness of 4 through 26o mm and vessel diameter of 200 through 12000 mm.
- a variety of heat exchangers with diameter of 300 mm and greater, Helix heat exchangers.
- centrifugal oil pumps with capacity of 8 m3 /hour through 1000 m3 /hour and pump thrust of 20 m through 370 m.
- ball valves, Ø 200, 300, 700, 1000, 1200, 1400 mm, pressure of 8-16 MPa, for ground-based and underground gas pipelines, gas gathering and processing centers of compressor and gas distribution station.

- pig launchers.

600 kg/cm2 hydraulic test bench to test density of vessels and fittings.
Shipping of finished products
We have river port of our own with water area of 25õ125 m, with two gantry cranes (capacity of up to 630 tons).
The plant is equipped with railways accessing Elshanka railway of Privolzhskaya railroad.
Total plant territory is 52 hectares.
