    Company history and overview of business

    Samaravolgomash was founded and registered by the RF Finance Ministry as JV “Kameronvolgomash” on June 20, 1991. Initially, ball valves were assembled of components supplied by French partners. Gaining more experience and establishing ties with Russian suppliers of components and materials, the company switched from valve assembly to valve manufacturing. The company was re-registered in 1997 and renamed as Samaravolgomash. The company’s manufacturing equipment includes advanced machine tools, X-ray equipment, non-destructive quality test equipment, special purpose welding and testing equipment. The company’s personnel was specially trained both in Russia and overseas. The company employs highly qualified specialists with work experience in defense and airspace industries. The company’s employees are committed to the high quality standards that have been maintained since the commencement of operations. The company currently manufactures ball valves and supplies valves and fittings by other manufacturers.
