11. Company history and overview of business
LLC Research and production enterprise “Tomsk Electronic Company” for about 10 years has occupied a position in the Russian process automation market as a reliable partner and supplier of intelligent products for oil and gas, oil processing, petrochemical, metallurgical and other industries.
The main focus areas are:
- Engineering and production process automation, turnkey procurement:
• Production lines;
• Process control. Automated control systems and emergency shutdown systems
• Inventory management, adjustment of balances;
• Transport management systems.
- Design, production, supply and commissioning of products:
• Intelligent electric drives of RemTEK series and associated electrical automatic equipment;
• Oil, gas, water, etc. metering equipment - measuring and computing centers MicroTEK;
• Gas alarm GSM-03, GSM-05;
• Tools and systems for batching by weight and weight measuring.

Tomsk Electronic Company pursues an active research and development policy (R&D department has been established) which allows to flexibly respond to market conditions and suit individual requirements of customers by offering custom equipment and engineering solutions.
The company conducts independent research and development and creates innovations based on customers’ specifications. The latter include Tomsk Electronic Company’s solutions for AK “Transneft”, OJSC “Samaraneftegaz”, OJSC “Yuganskneftegaz”.

LLC NPP “TEK” has floor space of 12 957 m², of which 11 769 m² is owned by the company, and 1 188 m² is leased.
The total production floor space is 3 956 m².
Test laboratory floor space is 356 m².
Warehouse floor space is 1204 m².
Also, LLC NPP “TEK» has a boiler house, water supply system and water treatment facilities, electric power substation.
The company’s production capabilities allow to provide the following services:
- construction and renovation of facilities – 1-2 facilities annually;
- turnkey packaged delivery of batching lines and loose materials delivery tracks - 10 units annually;
- supply of automated control systems (300 to 2000 signals), startup and commissioning - 10 units annually;
- supply of equipment and systems for batching by weight and weight measuring – more than 100 units annually;
- material management systems, measuring and computing centers - 120 units annually;
- supply of electrical drives, electronic control assemblies, motor protection, starters, etc. – up to 3000 units annually.

The company’s products were certified by certification organizations of OJSC “Gazprom”:

Since 2005, LLC NPP “TEK” is a member of the Valve Manufacturers Association and the Association of Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturers.
In March 2007, LLC NPP “TEK” and Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, LLC “Utilex IT 2000” concluded a contract for introduction of ERP system (Company resources management system) MS Dynamics AX (Axapta) engineered for business process optimization.
