    Company history and overview of business

    The history of OJSC “Altai Transformer Plant” dates back to 1946. Established as an electrical maintenance shop, the company eventually developed into the Barnaul Electromechanical Plant. In 1993, the company was reorganized and renamed into OJSC “Altai Transformer Plant”. The core business of OJSC “Alttrans” is electrical products manufacturing: 25-1000 kVA oil-immersed transformers and 25-630 kVA packaged transformer substations. Today, more than a hundred thousand transformers and ten thousand packaged transformer substations manufactured by the company are being successfully operated in Russia and overseas.
    The company pays great attention to improvement and renovation of its plant and equipment. The company’s production facilities include advanced equipment supplied by the world’s leading manufacturers.
    The plant employees are the most valuable asset of OJSC “Alttrans”. The company has a strong team of professionals knowing their business.
