11. Company history and overview of business
CJSC “RUST-95” is the Russian company founded in 1995 that specializes in manufacturing of superior quality pipeline valves and fittings and automated control equipment.
CJSC “RUST–95” is the first and the only domestic manufacturer offering valves made of stelloy and intended for corrosive environment, and Russia’s first company that applies stellite coating on 100% of its throttle units.
This is Russia’s first company to manufacture digital electropneumatic positioner using piezoelectric elements and supporting HART Protocol
For contribution in the economic development and social welfare of Russia the employees of CJSC “RUST-95” was awarded with a certificate of merit “For zealous labor for the glory of the motherland”.
The company has all capabilities and facilities for implementation of its production program and dynamic development:
• design and engineering bureau comprising 10 specialized divisions that ensures introduction of new products and technologies and implementation of in-house projects;
• foundry with pattern shop that uses state of the art automatic equipment for moulding and regeneration, new equipment for making cold-hardening steel and aluminum mixtures and pressure molding, inhouse certified laboratories of chemical, mechanical analysis and flaw detection;
• machine workshop with regularly renovated machine tool fleet that also includes advanced foreign-made equipment and tools;
80% of machine tools are NC machines;
• welding shop equipped with plasma guns, equipment for flame spraying and cathode welding of very hard materials (satellite), etc.
The company was one of the first in Russia to start using hard alloy and ceramic materials in throttling processes;
• painting, coating and rubber goods shop equipped with new anodizing and nickel-chrome plating machines, powder cameras and thermopresses;
• assembly shop with modern test benches and instrumentation;
• instrumentation shop that has an inhouse design bureau and machining, assembly and testing equipment;
• service division with personnel trained in AUMA, Schiebel and other companies and providing the full range of maintenance services;
• sales and marketing division
The current production program of CJSC “RUST-95” includes control valves, shutoff valves, control&shutoff valves ND 15 - 400 mm, NP 16 -250 atm with pneumatic, electric, electromagnetic or manual drive; direct pressure controllers including those of axial type, with remote job entry.
The company is a member of the international association HART.
