    Company history and overview of business

    In 1994, OJSC “Promtractor” (full name “Cheboksarsky Plant of Industrial Tractors”) established a subsidiary – OJSC “Promtractor-Service” that provided warranty and post warranty service of equipment manufactured by OJSC “Promtractor”. In 2006, the tractor sales division of OJSC “Promtractor” merged with OJSC “Promtractor-Service” that was later renamed into OJSC “CHETRA-Industrial Machinery”. In 2006, OJSC “Promtractor” and OJSC “CHETRA-Industrial Machinery” joined “Concern “Tractor Factories” that comprises several plants manufacturing engines and tractors for use in industries, agriculture and forestry engineering (including OJSC “Kurganmashzavod”). “Concern “Tractor Factories” granted an exclusive right to OJSC “CHETRA-Industrial Machinery” to sell equipment manufactured by OJSC “Promtractor” and OJSC “Kurganmashzavod”, and provide warranty and postwarranty service maintenance of the equipment.

    OJSC “CHETRA-Industrial Machinery” has 3564 square meters of production and warehouse floor space in the city of Cheboksary, and a total of 29300 square meters in all affiliate companies. Floor space located in Cheboksary is leased from OJSC “Promtractor”. 5% of the overall floor space in subsidiaries is owned by OJSC “CHETRA-Industrial Machinery”, and the rest is leased.
